The ability to work together towards a common vision
Don Beebe
Chief Executive Officer
Don was House of Speed’s first client. His story of reaching and excelling in the NFL is inspiring. He moved from siding houses to playing a year of football for NAIA Chadron State College in western Nebraska, to setting speed and agility records in the NFL that still stand. A nine-year veteran wide receiver, Don was the first person to play for six Super Bowl teams. He was instrumental in helping the Green Bay Packers achieve the 1996-97 NFL World Championship. He is legendary for snatching a tinge of victory from Buffalo’s defeat in Super Bowl XXVII, when he caught Leon Lett at the goal line and forced a fumble after a length-of-the-field race.
Don developed into one of the fastest players in league history, blazing to a career best 4.21 forty-yard-dash at the pinnacle of his career. His speed training business has brought him further acclaim, as he continues to train and improve his client’s speed performance. This has given them the ability to stand out against their competitors. He remains in demand as a speaker, falling back on his knowledge, character, and life experiences to motivate and inspire audiences nationwide. HOS provides a larger platform for his message of effort, efficiency and achievement as he touches a new generation of athletes.
Don is a very unique retired NFL player whose appeal remains in the public imagination. His highlights continue to grace ESPN long after his career has ended, and he remains in contact with league personnel due to his warm spirit, speed training, philosophy, and connection to kids. Additionally, many of his former NFL colleagues have moved into leadership roles throughout the United States. Because of this, Don generates significant attention and promotion.
He is instrumental in the formation of character-building programming that forms the core values of House of Speed. Finally, Don plans to remain very active in the midwestern camps and the individual training of the elite athletes who are destined to become the future stars of tomorrow. Throughout all of this, he expects to remain a coach, inspiring athletes to do what it takes to honorably reach the next level.
Don has given time to the Make a Wish Foundation and is a regular off-season speaker to church groups, giving Christian testimony and an inspirational message. He was honored as an "Unsung Hero" at the 24th NFL Players Association Awards Banquet, where players are recognized for dedication and love of football, fans and community.

Chris Risch
Director of Marketing / Public Relations
House of Speed - Aurora
As the Director of Marketing and Public Relations with House Of Speed Aurora, it is a privilege to work with the area coaches and parents to help improve their athletes, but also watch them become great young men and women. I started with House Of Speed for three reasons. First off, I love sports, basketball, volleyball, football, baseball, golf, wrestling, you name it, I’ll watch it and become a fan of it. Secondly, I enjoy working with kids. I currently hold the position as Head JV Football Coach at Aurora Christian High School and teaching young people to succeed on the field as well as in life is a great passion of mine. That brings me to my final reason for joining House Of Speed, it is more then just a company that will train your athlete. House Of Speed is a company that takes a personal interest in every child that walks through our doors. I truly believe if a kid is training in an atmosphere where they feel they are cared about, they will go that extra mile to become greater and achieve more in every thing they do. At House Of Speed, I can honestly say everyone that you will deal with will care and that is unique.
I attended Waubonsie Valley High School where I was a three-sport athlete. I played linebacker and tight end with the football team, was on an all-state wrestling team, and pitched on the baseball team. I then went on to play college football for Division III, Blackburn College. I started 4 years at tight end becoming St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic All Conference three times and All Academic twice. I received my B.A. in Marketing with a minor in Speech Communications in 2003.
I have worked as a Marketing Director and Sales Director for Rawlings Sports, and S & S Active Wear. I enjoyed being involved with sports to a certain degree, but I wanted to be more involved with the athletes themselves. I started coaching football with Don Beebe at Aurora Christian during the 2007 season, and had coached in several different area youth football leagues before that. I have also coached youth club wrestling for 5 years. I started with House Of Speed in July of 2008.
