Steps to owning a House of Speed franchise:

Step 1: Getting Acquainted

• Complete our on-line inquiry form


• A member of the HOS Management Team will call you to conduct a short, informal telephone discussion


• Submit by mail or email the franchise application to:

• Review your application to see if you have the business and financial background that is compatible with owning a HOS franchise

Step 2: Understanding the Mission

• Receive UFOC (Uniform Franchise Offering Circular)


• Receive franchise DVD


• Review facility options


• Understand what HOS stands for and what our true mission is for a franchisee

Step 3: Visit to HOS

• HOS invites you to visit our Corporate Headquarters in Aurora, IL to experience a HOS symposium, meet with senior management and other members of our team, and learn more about the prospect of becoming a HOS franchisee.


• You will receive more information about HOS and have the opportunity to ask questions of our management team and coaches


• At the end of the meeting, you will receive a copy of the Franchise Agreement

Step 4: Finalize the Facility

• HOS must see a finalized contract for the facility


• All specs must be met

Step 5: Finalize the Franchise Agreement

• You review and sign the Franchise Agreement


• Pay your initial franchise fees


• The opportunity to change a person’s life begins

Step 6: Prepare to CHANGE LIVES

• The HOS Franchising Team will assist you in developing your franchise. The process includes:


• Purchasing the equipment


• Identifying and recruiting your key employees


• Attend HOS training (Trainers, Marketing Director and Operations Director will receive classroom and on-the-job training)


• You will receive a detailed Operating Manual, Coaching DVD’s, and Marketing Manual. Each of these outlines the day-to-day process of running a successful HOS facility


• You will receive a marketing package that includes brochures, direct mail pieces, HOS Highlights DVD, radio ad copies and print ads


• Prepare for HOS team to come to your facility and host a grand opening event

Step 7: Ongoing Support – Success is a team effort

• Our assistance does not end with your beginning. We recognize that we can only be successful as a franchisor if our franchisees are successful


• You will receive continual updates to the training programs as HOS continues to improve and evolve


• All of our support software is web-based and centrally managed which means you receive updates immediately as they become available


• HOS will host forums to facilitate the sharing of ideas and best practices among our franchisees


• We will hold annual conferences bringing together our franchisees with members of management and outside experts to keep the learning fresh and the batteries recharged
